Nah, couldn’t have been.

Look away
As your HBO Comedy Special humor’s crumpled and thrown into the corner like a pair of hooker’s torn silk panties.
Don’t dare question the imponderables!
Examine or judge the jury of false hope.
Turn a deaf ear to the beckoning muses
And plagiarize the assassination of identity.
The Killing of Character.
Amputate all individuality
as your attributes are agonizingly annihilated
your uniqueness is assimilated into the mass produced gel of silly putty conformity.

Dance the dance of the shallow and misguided
And revel in your unique uniformity.
Sway with the masses like one of a thousand reeds in the marsh lands.
And step forward to declare:
“I think I heard something too.”
“Did you all hear that?”

But no one else heard it.
It was all in my head.

If thought of such I had
wouldnt need to wander thru the muck
dependent on luck to progress
debating within myself on origionality
mundane as my days become
