could not believe the way things had changed
looking to grow

Confusion

clouded with confusion

which way is up
which way is down
i just want to find direction

I don't know where she is gone

The steady stream bursts forth
slamming the porcelain with such force
going, going
slowly letting up
the last few drops tinkling into the bowl

Ah, sweet relief

Ha! I love it!

Flipped and Burned
 

Traffic slows
flashing lights appear
off to the right
other side of the road
a faint trail of smoke
rising from the tree-line

Ambulances, fire trucks, and police
the emergency triumverate

And there it lays
on its side in the grass
roof crushed
blackened by the fire
looks to have once been a Dodge
a painful end for a strong truck

Never saw the driver
did they live
did they die
been there, done that
flashes through my mind
I can laugh about it
but can they

It's officially called Technology Corridor
but to those that drive it
brave it every day
it is known as
Accident Alley
we have all seen them flipped and burned
we have all met the emergency triumverate


Based on the aftermath of an accident I saw this morning. I really have been there before, I got lucky there was no fire when mine happened.

Chopper
 

Cold gleaming steel
shiny flashing chrome
the curves so flowing
the heart so strong
the feel is that
of a taught body
the look is that
of the naked female form
so exciting
so dangerous
and then it purrs
but to hear it roar
is the real thrill
to feel it vibrate
the power
the strength
the speed

Nocturnals
 

As the streetlamps begin to light
And the darkness begins its nightly descent
The oldies play on the radio
Like some movie scene the small-town dusk activities begin
The rush from the fields and factories to home or bar
Windows begin to light
As the streets shut-down and the wind begins to blow
A feeling creeps in
Desolate and desparate
Now is when the Nocturnals begin to stir
