Where are you at?
I know you're here... I can still smell your perfume on my pillow Taste your sweetness on my lips Feel your warmth in my arms I reach for you at night, while I lay in bed My hands only grasp hollow air And long for your shapely body Where are you at? I know you're here... I can still see your shining face Your radiant smile Your starlit eyes I chase after you in my dreams Always coming up empty Your are my elusive prey My yearning I wake tired and weary from the chase Loneliness Denial Heartache Longing I know you're not here But I wish you were My earth-bound angel My mistress of miles Separated souls and hearts. With you, miles away Is a portion of my heart and soul I hope you hold them dear But only temporarily The time will come when we always be together Now, Then, Forever Our lives are destined to intertwine And merge into one complete life Is this life Eden? Heaven on Earth? I think so. My earth-bound angel. I miss you |
