Supposed to be a song
I was inspired by different recent happenings in my life, that made me write this. evertything in () is to be sung with a raspy whisper. It's written as progressive metal and I'm going to see if a friend of mine can make some music for it.
Armand Rothschild - Over the stars --------------------------------------------------- we are still young and lost I look at you and watch you turn to dust your angelic face is getting lost deep in my mind this life has become a cruel reality we're drifing away from eachother and this world This empty space is what we've made (there is no escape) this twisted world is all that is left (there is no escape) now there is no way to run anymore (there is no escape) just close your eyes and float away I took the ride over the stars my mind got torn into pieces this love couldn't save me anymore I drift around and watch the earth fade beneath I can't come back while you're around This empty space is what we've made (there is no escape) this twisted world is all that is left (there is no escape) now there is no way to run anymore (there is no escape) just close your eyes and float away this trip is suddenly perpetual I never would have known it could be like this I see all my life from above and I see your sorrow and pain It pleases me to see you battered and empty -female- why did you have to take it over the stars (you thought life was so easy on me) it could have been allright (you thought all I saw was beauty) never I wanted to hurt you (you thought all I wanted was life) -female end- This empty space is what we've made (there is no escape) this twisted world is all that is left (there is no escape) now there is no way to run anymore (there is no escape) just close your eyes and float away now just follow me away together we'll try something new we'll take it over the stars and the rest of the world is gone for us we have our own universe

okay that is a great song and the strangest thing was that when i was reading it Evanescence came on the radio
i was thinking it sounded like something they would sing when the song came on too and since i love Evanescence, it would only make sense that i love the lyrics to your song!

Hmm... acctually I don't really like Evanesence... Especially because of the male singer that breaks in and makes it all sound like Linkin Park(!) *screams* I was more thinking some slow electroninc metal/progressive metal. I was listening to The Kovenant while I was writing it... Thanks for your replies anyway.

Sounds like it could be better as a Decoryah song than a Kovenant song, in my opinion. And (fortunately) that Evanescence song is the only one with that dickhead in it. The rest of that CD's pretty good.
