when life is gone
the fire's alight
the peace treaty drawn
the cool of the night

who will be there
to protect me
from the evil shroud
of blackness that surrounds me

when hope has left
and time is no more
who am i then
what do i live for

heaven and hell come
to rescue me from the other
will hells pleasuring pain claim
or will heavens piercing freedom hover

for this i know not
nor do i care
for life so cruel
for life unfair

i offer my being
to anyone else
that can over come me
and save me from myself
