Darkness shrouded every shadow
Each flash of lightening flickered memories
For one blinding second I saw you
For one blinding second I missed you
In the light of the storm you were mine
In the darkness you were gone again
I am the light and she is the darkness

As the storm inside my mind raged
The storm inside my heart ebbed
For each flicker of lightening grew brighter
Each memory grew stronger
You became more mine than hers
