I normally wait until i know someone before they see this poem, but a friend asked me to post it, so here it is. Hope you enjoy it.


My Love

Why did you leave?
Why did you steal my heart away?
Wasn’t my love enough…
To make you stay?

You left me with a broken heart,
With tears in my eyes.
My life is in ruins because you left me,
But I still love you.

My love, when you left…
My heart broke.
You left me to pick up the pieces,
Of our time together.

Wasn’t I enough for you…
To love, to hold, to talk to?
Why did you leave me…
For that girl?

Were you unfaithful to me?
While I was faithful to you?
Are you in love with her?
Or are you going to use her, like you did me?

My love, you should have stayed…
To help me pick up the pieces.
But you left me to pick them up.
But I’ll love you for always.


My heart aches for you…
For the love you once claimed to me.
My body aches for you…
For the way you touched me.

Do you claim to her that you love her?
Does she understand that you…
Only use and not love her?
Does she believe your lies?

Can we not be friends?
Can we be friends and just…
Talk to each other?
I feel like I’ll die if I’m not with you.

My love, when you left me…
I cried, for I had loved you so,
Much it had hurt.
My love, you hurt me so much.

My love, you used me.
You made me believe your lies.
When you claimed to love me,
Did you mean it?

Why did you leave?
Why did you steal my heart away?
Wasn’t my love enough…
To make you stay?
