Biological Poetry
i can picture it now
platelets rushing into place lining up like shingles on a roof stop red blood cells crashing against each other a scab where to go, where to go the network of collagen has been cut prickle cells struggle producing anew mitosis mitosis mitosis grow repair basal cells push up squamous cells knit together it contracts like a zipper skin glows newly pink I will be posting more soon. I haven't written a lot of poetry recently, but I am inspired by the biology class I am currently taking and all of the language associated with the human body and its functions as they relate to myself.

I'm sorry for crashing this thread, OSO. I absolutely love the poetry. It reminded me of some performance-poetry about vampires and teenagers choking on improperly chewed gum that friends of Grancey's used to do when our band played and we let them have open-mike during our breaks.
However, I have to admit my main motivation in posting here was that I wanted your thread to be the LAST POST on the TFP main page for Literature instead of....well, another thread.
