I wish to know again that I matter I wish to know again that I exist I wish to know again that I am heard I wish to know again that love can fill my heart I wish to know again a woman’s touch on my face I wish to know again holding hands as we walk, thinking only of each other I wish to know again that the future looks bright I wish to know again that I can be loved again I wish to know again that it is okay to be myself I wish to know again that I can trust her I wish to know again that she will not leave me I wish to know again the love I felt when we first me I wish to know again the romance we had I wish to know again that she won’t cut me so deeply as to injure my existence I wish to know again the love of a woman I wish to know again that I can satisfy her desires I wish to know again the joys of love-making I wish to know again my soul I wish to know again my desires I wish to know again decisions that don’t hurt anyone I wish to know again the brightness in her eyes as though her soul was speaking to mine I wish to know again that I am not looking better but looking good I wish to know again that I am worth something I wish to know again the sense of humor and the art of making her laugh I wish to know again not to blame myself for her unhappiness I wish to know again a bright smile from the one I love as I enter a room. I wish to know again the inner peace I wish to know again why I should stay on this earth I wish to know again why I am trying to rekindle a love lost between us.
