I wish to know again holding hands as we walk, thinking only of each other

I wish to know again that I can be loved again
I wish to know again that it is okay to be myself
I wish to know again that I can trust her
I wish to know again that she will not leave me
I wish to know again the love I felt when we first me
I wish to know again the romance we had
I wish to know again that she won’t cut me so deeply as to injure my existence
I wish to know again the love of a woman
I wish to know again that I can satisfy her desires
I wish to know again the joys of love-making
I wish to know again my soul
I wish to know again my desires
I wish to know again decisions that don’t hurt anyone
I wish to know again the brightness in her eyes as though her soul was speaking to mine
