Valentine's day poems...........
Here I sit thinking of what to say
Not sure how to get it across I think of the words but they somehow get lost I don't want to come across too cliche I could say in your eyes I do get lost That your smile warms me in a beautiful way That I could give you my heart at any cost And that I think about you every moment of the day But that isn't me And I hope you understand I hope my truth you can see And just take me by my hand Lead me to the place where I can be free and show me that love's still alive And I can show you how much you mean to me When you take my hand and show me I'm alive I could say that your smile warms my heart That seeing you wear it sets me free But I can't play that part Cause it just ain't me So I sit here wondering what to write Trying to find the words to describe the honesty And I struggle to find the words that just fit right Cause I what I feel I want you to see So I'm sitting here writing this verse Not making sense, but I keep on trying But I guess it's some type of curse And it's better than me lying Don't know how far we will go Or how much gas I have in left in me But what I do know Is how much you mean to me So I end this gift to you Hoping that it made sense somehow Hoping that we're starting something beautiful and new All I can say is I won't hurt you and this I truly vow.

I just love people who use the excuse "I use/do this because I LOVE the feeling/joy/happiness it brings me" and expect you to be ok with that as you watch them destroy their life blindly following. My response is, "I like to put forks in an eletrical socket, just LOVE that feeling, can't ever get enough of it, so will you let me put this copper fork in that electric socket?" |
