This is going to sound bad, but... pee on your feet in the shower. Really rank foot odor is caused by bacteria or fungus(athlete's foot, etc.) which can be easily killed by peeing on your feet in the shower every day. Sounds strange, but it will work wonders.

with all respect to your recommendation, but is that true? i mean, it sounds weird, but is it really worth going through that ?? Oh, i am a runner by the way. so, i figured that is the problem. I have to get rid of this odor.
Thanks for the recommendations so far, and keep on coming with more. |

I used to have the problem.. I solved it by washing my feet really well everytime I showered and having a few different pairs of shoes and never wearing the same pair two days in a row, and also by using powder. It will (or should) go away after a while.. I don't have to worry about it anymore but I am still sure to wash my feet.

So let me start off by telling you I have had the worst feet out of anyone I know.
Next let me tell you that my feet are now beautiful. What most likely making your feet stink is bacteria. It's different then athlets foot. My socks used stick to my feet. The best way to get rid of it is by the following: 1. Change your shoes each day. That's to say have 4 pairs of shoes and rotate them, never wearing the same pair two days in a row. Let them air out and dry completely. Sounds like a lot of work, but you get used to it. 2. Antibiotics my friend. That's what'll kill the bacteria. That with the above will cure the problem. I evven go as far to hange my socks at lunch. 3. It helps but is not a cure. Comet... before I did the above, this helped. Along the same line as the acid in your pee but it's clorox or bleach instead. Give it a try! |

Another suggestion, only buy really thick socks, they make running socks special for running and working out in. Go hit up ur local sporting goods store and see about them. Anothen thing is to take more time on ur feet when ur in the shower. Make sure you scrub them very good and get inbetween ur toes really good. Everyone is gonna get stinky feet one time or the other, it's common, just take good care of em, they have to do you for the rest of ur life.

I then went to costco and bought some socks that were 85% cotton and my feet barely smell. Could be that... I used to wear the others because they were a lot more comfortable. Good luck, whatever you may choose. at the "peeing on your feet" idea. Though, it might work! |
