How to cope with my problems
Hello guys, i have an endless story to tell, but i am going to cut it as short as possible. Basically, my problem is as follows: i am going to college, studying software engineering, reading a lot(required to understand more the subjects), i run 3-4 times a week for about 6 miles each time. I live with my parents, well mom, and i take care of a house, as well as, pay school bills, house bills, maintenance of it too.
Now, how would i be able to get out of this depression state i am in, i feel like sometimes i have no control over the stupid things i do, as word fighting with my mom, blame myself for not achieving as others do. I feel like i am in a state of depression, but there seems to be no problem with my personal health. I am 22 years old, and some people said that i would greatly benefit from finding myself a companion( a lady) so i can finally talk to that person and tell her what my problems are. I have always been scared of talking to girls, but i have to admit that there is one girl i like way back from high school, but i actually chickened out when i had a chance to talk to her. I dream of her as being the only girl i really felt interested into talking to her. What should i do to overcome this problem and feel a bit better about who i can be?? Thanks, i hope i didn't confuse you guys, because i feel like i did. ltr. |

Sounds like you have achieved more than some people ever do. Responsibility is a dying art. Call this woman and ask her if lunch is possible one day next week. Worst she can do is say no. My dad always told me something that I really didn't get until much later on in life. He used to say "They can kill ya but they can't eat ya". The rough translation is "nothing ventured - nothing gained and "no lives lost" all rolled into one. Give it a shot. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
