What do people think about office relationships ?

I've always had the view of not pissing in ones own back yard. However there's this girl I work with who I'm finding myself increasingly attracted to. She's also single.

We don't just work for the same company but we're on the same team involved in the same product. I'm the technology manager for the product that she does sales support for. She doesn't report to me and we aren't in each others' faces at work but there is enough interaction there that might make one or the other feel awkward if something did happen between us.

There are quite a few people in my company that have hooked up. In fact it's a bit of a joke how many married couples met in our support department.

Anyway, thought I'd ask for the wisdom of the TFP!!! :D
