Just lost a belt size :)
When I started working I was on the 3rd last notch of my belt i wear for work (i only work on sat-sundays)
put belt on this morning and had to go down a notch just to keep them up (they used to be tight on the previous notch) been trying this fitness thing (exercising and eating healthy) for the last two weeks. (on my mission to lose 25KGs in 30 weeks) I weigh the same, but I guess weighing the same and losing size is a sign of progress right? |
Good for you!!! Keep up the good work.

I'd say say. I've lost 2" from my waist but only drop 5 pounds and my heart is runnning much better.

Congratulations! I've just acheived a similar goal. Remember the practical benefits and not just the vanity. Your back will feel much better in general, without the extra weight on your midsection, and evidently, you've already recognized the cardio benefits.
As for the weighing the same, it's probably because you're gaining muscle too, and remember that muscle weighs more than fat. |
Congrats man!
I lost a couple of belt sizes, but i've gone and put them back on again damnit... |
Yeah well my ex gf does gymnastics so after our walk to and from uni (two killer hills with a valley bit in the middle 45 min walk each way) we go through her routine of ab exercises and strength stuff she has to do, on the first day I couldnt do 3 (proper) crunches, now I can keep up with her doing 30 or more, (and generally accross all exercises I can actually do more than 1 now)

Sounds good! What kind of exercise do you do?
Back in February I was about 230lbs (5'10"). I knew I had to do something, but initially I was only concerned about weight and not fitness level. So I dramatically cut my food intake for the rest of the month and lost 15lbs. I was definetly skinnier, but my body was weak. My friends finally got through to me, pointing out that the scale is not the best way to gauge results. So we started working out together, doing any kind of exercise as long as it kept me active 10+ minutes a time. I'm down a pant size (almost 2!), filling out a medium in the right places (as opposed to a large in the wrong places), I've increased my stamina and strength, and I like being outdoors alot more. It's exactly what my goal was, but done properly. I'd hate to imagine what would've happened if I continued with my erroneous ways. |
Just put my belt on this morning for work, dropped another one :D :D
Last hole of the belt now :> went out on wednesday night (uni night) and tried on an old pair of pants which i havnt even bothered with for about a year, a little snug, but they were comfortable enough to wear still, woot |
