crunchs anyone

And what is the difference between doing sit ups and crunchs (go into detail plz about what it affects and should i do it dailly every week.) and if you guys/girls know any others that would be good plz list it for me thanks.

If you're looking to primarily lose the few pounds on the gut, just doing crunches/sit-ups isn't going to do it. You'll have to do some cardio too. Running seems to work very well for this as does swimming. I don't know the true difference between a crunch and sit-up though, sorry I can't be of any more help.

crunches do not make you lose weight
they may slightly enlargen your abs.. but unless you have a proper diet and do cardio, nothing will happen |
You can't target different areas of your body for fat loss. You just have to exercise (cardio works best, when combined with resistance training to increase your muscle mass and a low crap diet) until your body decides that it's going to use the fat from your gut and burn it off.
A crunch typically only goes up to about a 50 degree angle from the floor, whereas a sit-up (which are generally thought of as less effective and more prone to injury) goes further, sometimes to your knees. |
actually crunches will make your belly bigger at first because your muscles underneath the fat grows, but the fat stays.

Crunches will help build the muscle under the fat, but you gotta diet to reduce the fat to see them
Read the Abs Diet from Men's Health magazine. |
so i have to run?
back to track and cross country running again. i just gained 20 pounds because i wanted to. phooey =[ |

if you got a gut, watch your diet and get some cardio (in that order)!!!! Crunches, situps whatever, are just going to make your stomach stick out more......you need to lose fat!!! If you want to show a 6 pack...it's 95% diet!!!
