Does anyone else wear clothes that HIDES their good physique?
We've all seen girls/guys in the gym who wear skimpy clothes to show off their bodies. Some girls wear extremely tight shorts and sports bras to get attention and we've all seen the huge guys who like to strut around in their tank tops in front of mirrors.
But I pose this question: Does anyone else wear clothes to the gym that HIDES their good physique? For example, I'm in pretty good shape. I lift weights, run, and do submission grappling. At the gym it would be much more comfortable to wear a tight tank-top or sleeveless tshirt than a regular loose shirt, but I feel this would be showing off. Does anyone else share this view of gym apparrel?

If you've got it, I say flaunt it. After all, you’ve worked for it. Also, you're only "showing off" if someone's envious of what you've got
When I hit the gym, I swear a chesty bonds singlet and a pair of shorts. I like to see my muscles working when I use them. It helps motivate. |

I used to have a really good physique, then I got injured, but getting it back now. I just wore whatever the hell i wanted, I still do. In the winter i prefer the more baggy sweatshirts and in summer i like the looser t-shirts. I don't like tight clothing and wouldn't wear in any physique. I think you should just wear whatever you want to, if you want to flaunt, flaunt, if not don't.

Usually loosish pants and shirt that fits well, not too loose or tight. I personally love it when the girls show off, no surprise there. I don't really care if the guys where tight clothes, if they want to show off, go ahead.

I always wear sweats and a loose fitting sweatshirt. In the summer when it gets hot in there I'll switch from sweatshirts to long sleeve t-shirts. I've never been much of a show off but at the ripe young age of 40 I still look better than most of the twenty-somethings that come in there. Doesn't matter though...I'm not there to socialize or hit up the women. I go early so the crowd isn't usually too heavy and on the rare occasion that I do go late it's still not a social occasion. I go to work out and get the hell out of there. Sooo....to answer your question I'm also missing the vanity gene.

I'm really cut (9 to 11% body fat depending on season 5'11 174lbs) no one would know I’m ripped until its summertime and I’m at the beach and i get the wows then get all the diet questions from everyone at every party. I wear somewhat baggy pants and an XL short sleeve tshirt at the gym so I guess I hide it.
