Vanagon or Camper owners? - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

Very soon now I am going to buy a VW vanagon (the camper one not the bus) and I am looking forward to driving it around the US perhaps Canada and Mexico as well. Does anyone here own one of these vehicles? If so could you enlighten me on how to drive a camper, Where to go, what to do, and where to go. I'm really excited that I'm finally going to be able to start traveling around the country but going in a camper is just not anything that I know ANYTHING about. I look forward to you guys comments!!

My only concern about VW is lack of dealers off the beaten path.

I highly suggest a trip into Canada or even to Alaska. The ALCAN highway is just beautiful.
