Chipped Bone

I am almost positive that i chipped a bone in my ankle, does the bone fragment go away ever go away while in the ankle, and after how much time will it go away, the bone respawn and fix itself, and if it is not a bone that i feel floating in my ankle, what eles could it be? it's been almsot 2 months since i injuried it, so how much longer will the bone last if it does?

If you think you broke a bone two months ago and it still hurts, it might be a good idea to go see a doctor. Most likely, it healed improperly and needs to be fixed.

Need a better description of the symptoms. What does "feel it floating in my ankle" mean? Can you feel it with your fingers when you palpate a certain spot? What spot? What part of your foot hurts? What movements cause pain? How did the injury happen?

it's just thatright under the ankle, like where ball joint of the bone, i can move something that feels like a small Bead around, the movement is only back and forth, but it still is weird, i was just wondering if thats a bone chip, or could it be sumthing eles.

It's probably just a calcium deposit - kind of like scar tissue. It shouldn't cause problems, but if you're really worried about it you could go see a doctor.

It is so odd the way some people look at this place as Dr. TF Project. Some things just beg for a real Dr. first. It takes out all the guesswork. Heck, even a real Dr. wouldn't diagnose you over a post.
