I will see Everest one day. Not climb it (though I would love to visit base camp), but just see it, with my own eyes.

splck, I don't know if you just saw the movie "The Motorcycle Diaries", but you definitely should check it out. There's some great footie of sur america in it.
And it's a great movie. I've seen it twice. If anyone's going to see it, don't go drunk, and don't sit in the third row. Subtitles are a bitch up close when you're drunk of a crapton of wine. I used the word crapton.

Long list... but on the top of that list:
Australia, New Zeland, The Moon (or at least outer space... thank you Space Ship One), China... or any palce I haven't been yet. I think everywhere has certain charms all unto itself.

One of my good friends wintered over in Antarctica.
I would like to visit there. I would just stop in NZ and Australia on the way.

I have a LONG list of places I truly want to see but one that is near and dear to my heart is Bora Bora Tahitia. I visited once around age 12 or so and I have a burning passion to return. The water is unlike anything I've seen since and the coral, fish and underwater view... Damn I'm going to Orbitz to make plans right now

I'm from the UK and I'd like to see all of the above especially Egypt, but I'd also like to travel around the US visiting a diner in different states, visiting Niagara Falls, seeing California in Summer and general road-tripping around...

I have been fortunate to visit quite a few countries in the last few years. I want to go back and see more of most of them. I want to see a lot of other places as well, including the Antarctic and the southern tip of South America, Australia, New Zealand, Tahiti, Tuscany, and many more. But the number one place I have to see is the Galapagos islands.

There are a lot of places I'd like to go... Australia, New Zealand, UK. Heck, I haven't even seen the Pacific Ocean with my own eyes yet. But as long as we're dreaming, I'll tell you where I'd really like to go: Mars. I've always been fascinated by the idea of standing on a planet other than the one I was born on. With recent developments, I'm starting to think it could be a real possibility within my lifetime.

I really want to see Ireland, Stonehenge, Lascaux caves in France, Germany, Spain, Rome, The Seychelles, Tenochtitlan and other Aztec sites, and one day travel the Trail of Tears. I love traveling...I'd much rather do that than use my money to buy "stuff".

New Zealand tops my list. That seems to be a popular one. And I still haven't seen Saskatchewan... so that's a close #2.
A few people have mentioned Stonehenge, and I don't get it. I've seen it. Our tourbus stopped there for like 2 hours, and I was done after 15 mins.

Vinson Massif doesn't particularly matter to me, just wandering the south pole would be fun. Ummm, Macchu Picchu would be awesome. For this next year, plans to get to NYC, possibly Hawaii, and less like Frankfurt are in the works. I mainly just hope to keep travelling as long as I possibly can. |
