Yeah, I'm still living at home but I'm hoping to go flatting next year.
No I don't have a car (yet, I'm starting my job next week so I'll be able to get my own in a few months) but I'm borrowing one of my parent's cars.

I'm 25 and live in a duplex with my mother. She's on disability and sometimes needs help getting round the house, so I moved in about 3 years ago to help her out.
It's a full sized house with a fully furnished basement. I have like my quasi-kitchen and everything.... ![]() Being a college kid for the last 3 years hasn't been very good on the wallet, so no, I don't own a car.

I live with my parents, but I pay them rent. I also have my own car. But, I think the only reason they want me to still live here is to take care of my doggie. Otherwise he'd be home alone all day and depressed.
How pathetic is that? ahaha. |

I have always wondered this, and I'm not trying to be a smartass, but....
If your parents' house is "home," what do you call the place where you live if it's not your parents' house? As in "going home for the holidays." Where were you before you went home? Are you never home except when at your parents' house? Really, I live in a college town and I spend way too much time wondering about this. My experience has been that where I live is my home, wherever it is. |

Wow so many people live with their parents!
I'm renting the basement of my sister's home while going to college. The difference between parent's home and sibling's home may seem small, but I think I almost have the same amount of freedom as having my own house. Oh, and I have a truck.
