Audio Engineering Schools in the U.S.

Im looking for some schools or universities that offer Audio engineering, because
here in germany there arent many good opportunities to get a degree or diploma and i was thinking about studying abroad anyway...
anyone know any universities (preferably in the larger cities ;) )

in arizona, there is a place called the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences. it's the place i wouldv'e gone if fucking high-school councillors weren't pushing everyone into colleges, regardless of their occupational desires. check it out.

by googling "audio engineering schools", i also found this: The Institute of Production and Recording. you might check them out as well.

man thats one huge step i have to take there, leaving everything behind in good old europe :)
anyone know someone who has been to either one of those?
