New Cirque du Soliel show in LV?
 

Has anyone heard of the new Cirque show in MGM grand? I know it has to do with fire?

Yeah... it's called Ra... cept there's an accent over the a.

It's about twins (I think) that get separated and have to find each other again.

I'm on the email list for MGM Grand and their family of hotels - they've really been talking it up lately on the list.

You may be thinking of Fire Within...There's also Zumanity, O, and Mystere'. There's a list of past ones they've done (all of them I've seen on the Bravo channel).

which is the best cirque to see in LV?

I've seen all three of the current shows (Mystere, O, and Zumanity) and I think Mystere is not only the best of the three, it's the best show I've ever seen. The feats those performers do are absolutely amazing. And the music and dancing are great, too.

Incidentally, when Wynn opens up, it will have a Cirque show, too. I'm not sure of the theme of that one.

hmmmm. Everyone tells me to see the O show but maybe i should see Mystere instead.

There is going to be a Beatles themed show in Vegas. I think Cirque is doing it..

Yeah, it's what's replacing Sigfried and Roy at the Mirage. It was just announced a few days ago. It's supposed to open in about 18 months.

Is this the same show they have at Disney in Orlando? I saw that show about 2 years ago and it was excellent.

No. Supposedly this show is going to be groundbreaking. It's the first time the Beatles have agreed to have their music be the basis of a show (other than their movies, of course). Whatever Cirque does is absolutely great. I'm very much looking forward to seeing how they incoroporate the music of the Beatles.

I saw Cirque in NYC a few years ago and LOVED it! You should definitely check them out if you have the chance. Simply incredible!
