Do you find yourself lazier at...

College/School, Work, or at Home.

Basically more of a question for those in College, but I've been thinking about it
since school is about to start back up, and I'm curious if it's the same for others.

While up at school, my dorm room was spotless, I worked out almost every
weekday in the gym until Christmas Break, I made just about every class, got
decent grades, did ALOT of stuff with dorm-floor friends, and was basically
just much more active than I am here at home. And, seriously, along with all
that stuff, and schoolwork, I ended up reading close to 50 full length novels at
school this year.

Home: Room is messy as all hell, even though I spend countless hours in here.
I don't eat as much as I did at school even though my room up there was
never stocked with food. I've been exercising less (apart from 1 hour bike
rides in the evening) and I'm all around a lazier, crudier, slightly-smellier
person.

Hell, I barely even hang out with my friends because I'm too busy playing a
video game or just not "in the mood", even though there is NOTHING better to
do at home. (Oh, and I didn't even have a JOB this Summer.) (And from
above, even though I spend 95% of my day in my room, and I read 50 books
at school, I have read a grand total of, 1 book this ENTIRE SUMMER. (From
May 6th to this August 29th.))

I'd prefer to be lazy all year round.

I suppose I'm a lot more lazy in the summer months when school is off. It'd probably be most accurate to attribute my summer laziness to the shitty retail job I used to have. After 8 grueling hours of doing 3 or more jobs at the same time and being yelled at for nothing anyone would rather lay on the couch for the rest of the day instead of doing laundry. But even in more than just the physical aspects, when school is in session I'm reading about 3 books at the same time and a few a month - this summer I've read about 3 books total....

Definetly more lazy in the summer.

lazy whether at uni or not
Actually when I'm on campus I do my work, I actually have to leave home on my days off to go to uni just so i can get my homework done. I NEVER get any homework done at home, except for assignments

I'm far more lazy at home. I try to take care of my stuff at college and at work, but if I'm just at home, man am I lazy.

Definitely at home. I'm at my parents' home right now because I am on medical leave... I find it hard getting anything done. I have trouble getting up in the morning. It takes me forever to shave in the morning. I don't feel like making meals or cleaning. Who knows. Maybe it's the fact knowing if you're lazier at home you won't affect anyone else other than yourself.

When I was a freshman, I'd say I was lazier at home. But now I don't really go home so I can't say.

Right now? I'm lazier at work. There's nothing to do! It's a 12 hour shift, and I'm only busy (maybe) 2 hours on an average day.
Normally, I'm a lot lazier at home, though. My main motivation is to get everything done so I can go home and be lazy.

I am definately lazier when school is out. I really should start exercising more to lose weight and also go out more with my friends. Last year I locked myself in my room and did nothing but study.

Home. When I get home from work I just want to chill. I've been trying to motivate myself more to clean when there needs to be cleaning though.

Way more lazy at home, if I pulled half the crap at work, I'd be quickly de-employed

At home, for sure. Doesn't help much that the summers are SO HOT here, so the only thing you want to do is stay in one place and try to keep cool.

I'm with you on this one, Paradise Lost. I've been looking forward to college starting back up, simply because I can tell that I'm lazier and not as intelligent when I'm not working and reading constantly.

The main thing behind this is that I haven't had a job during the off time in a while. I try to keep up on reading books and such, but the internet seems to take that time. Lately I've been surfing almost everyday and eating a lot; Sometimes I'm so lazy that I feel like this kind of living is a job

yeah, I'm lazier at home...but it sucks because I like things to be clean and to do more interesting things with my SO than lounge around...a lot of the time though we're just too tired. Also I don't know if I'm getting old but I feel like the older I get the earlier I fall asleep...I do'nt know, maybe I'm just more active than before and worn out. I want to be more energetic!
