First time to Cancun...Any suggestions
 

I was never able to make it during all those years of college but will be finally be heading out there next week with my lady!! Any club/bar suggestions? Places to go? Places to stay away from? Thanks.

It's been too long since I've been tehre -- where are you going? to a resort? or somewhere else?

There was just a show on Travel Channel tonight about the top ten spots in Cancun. I recorded it because one of my buddies is about to go there. When I watch it I'll be sure to post what I learn.

Take a day trip to Chichen-Itza (major Mayan Ruins). You can ride in a luxury bus with TV and A/C for cheap. Take a day trip over to Isla Mujeres (the island off of Cancun). Take a day trip down to Tulum and hang out on the beaches down there.

Bug repellent. LOTS of it.

And drink only bottled beverages.
