Nair for Men
 

Just saw this new product advertised in a magazine.
Has anyone tried it and if so what were the results?

tried it on my chest once and never again......

it doesnt work maybe with 2 or 3 treatments but after the first one it just looked like i had shaved 5 days ago....stubble looking.... and it burned the shit outta my nipples lol

if you do decide to try it.....trim you hair first with a 1/4 inch attachment...then apply the goop...may work a bit better....just dont go near the nips

I've used it on my upper back a few times. Sometimes it worked well and sometimes it didn't. Pay attention to the directions and how long you are supposed to leave it on. I think I left it on a little too long a couple times and it irritated my skin.

It can't be any differernt than the Nair for Women, really pay attention to the instructions, Read them.... Leave it on too short, and it doesn't work, leave it on too long, and you would have preferred to bathe in acid.

Generally you want to keep it away from any "sensitive" regions.

You also might want to do a skin test first, somewhere just to make sure you won't have a reaction to it... These is a straight chemical you are putting on your skin - you might have a reaction.

im sure its the same forumla....just if it was in a pink bottle i know i would not have bought it :crazy:

How long does it last. I mean how long was it before you had to apply it again?

I've used it a couple of times, and I feel that it's less likely to irritate my skin than regular Nair. That may be because I'm less likly to get too much of it on my skin, due to the roller applicator.

It usually works decently, but you have to leave it on just enough without leaving it TOO long...cause it can leave patchy stubble if not left long enough (which is better than the chemical burn caused by leaving it too long).

It's great for areas that can't be reached with a razor.

Hah! I remember when nair first came out my GF at the time wanted to use it on my chest hair. Well she did and 5 seconds latter there was a guy running around her room screaming:

"IT BURNS! IT BURNS! What have you done to me!?"

It has a roller applicator? How am I supposed to put it on my back by myself?

the one i have doesnt have a roller applicator

maybe it can come with it but i dont think normal nair for men has a roller its just a creme in a bottle

(read the fine print, it would have told you not to put it on your nipples)

This is why I am glad my supermarket has a do-it-yourself checkout lane. I could buy a cucumber, a bottle of vaseline, and a bottle of liquor and no one would even know.

Or else buy a pink bottle of Nair...

Ahh funny yall mention this, i just used this today on my chest, dear god it burned lol i had shaved off some of the hair already so the nair somehow managed to get to my bare skin where i had already shaved ahhhh burning sensation! worked allright i guess, seems that even if u do use it youll need to shave over it anyway in the end
