Fiji - diving, hiking, exploring?
 

Wife and I are heading to Fiji in August. New friends of ours invited us to stay with them at their "summer home." Don't get too excited, it's a modest home with no electrical - they have a generator and use gas lamps at night.

We're going to dive and explore the island (Taveuni) based on their suggestions.

Has anyone at TFP been to Fiji and can make any recommendations on what to dive, explore, etc.?

I've never been myself, but the son of a colleague (who went on the trip) did a photo shoot there for Sport Diver magazine in '02 -
