New job application
It's happened, the camel's back finally broke, and I want out of my job. So I am applying for new ones.
I have a form in front of me right now, and I am chewing my pencil over the thought of what to write for 'Reason for leaving old job'. The reason I am leaving is that I hate the work, the hours, and the stress, but most of all the boss. But how can I put that across in a few short words, and not make myself sound like a man who is unable to cope with a job? Believe me, with the circumstances in my office at the moment, they are practically making me leave. This is my first ever job, and I don't know how you diplomatically explain what was wrong with your last place of employment. Any thoughts on this? |
you don't need to explain something so negative...
make it positive instead... my favorite response: No opportunity for growth. Good luck. and if you searched for "reason for leaving" you would have seen this: http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/showthr...on+for+leaving |
exactly what cynth said.

If "dissatisfied with job" is reason enough to qualify for unemployment, it's reason enough for the job app
