Inline Skating
Ok, been skating for a long while (im 21) and im in the market for a new pair of inlines... my heart is set on the Roces Tempesta T400's although they are next to impossible to find in southern ontario, or for that matter all of canada.
Has anybody had any experences with Roces inlines? From what I've seen and read (christ it's next to impossible to find reviews online about any inline, help there too?) Roces seem to be a very good company. Any other suggestions to check out? I'm a pretty good skater, ont at least 3 or more times a week, looking for something comfortable, light, fast, nice wheeles and bearings, a good fitness skate basically. Something to replace my tecnica's... Thanks! |

Roces are excellent- durable, comfortable, long-lasting. I had a pair for quite a while, and I am sure I would still have them if they weren't stolen If I were to buy another pair (which I plan to) it would be Roces. I've tried Rollerbalde and other brands, but they are just not that comfortable, durable, or flexible.
Did you think about purchasing them online? |

Bauer hockey skates are good!!!!! but that's not inline skating..Bauer does make good inline skates thou. Don't you notice that it's not really the skate that makes the blades.. it's the wheels. I mean my blades are nice n all but after 2 weeks I have wheels that arn't fast.. don't grip and vibrate cause they wear out so fast.. Damnit I guess what i'm trying to say is DAMN YOU SKATE WHEELS WHY MUST YOU ONLY LAST 2 WEEKS.. blaah nm.. go with the Roces they are good *has to go to store and shell out 40 bucks for new wheels*

I was thinking of getting them online, but i found a place in toronto (40 minute drive away) that will order them for me...
sorry to hear about your blades getting stolen, thats shit. I've only really ever had 2 things of any value stolen from me, a cd-walkman and a jean jacket (cd thing in highschool) jacket when i was like 12 and in a swimming lesson, it was taken right out of the change room locker thingy... so sad.....anyway back on track! Im glad to hear the roces are excellent. from what little news there is online thats what i could decipher, im just glad to get somebody to back that up! also, imp, to be honest, i've never had that problem with wheels. especially because the ones i use are harder as a skate long-ish distances outside. i find bearings make the biggest difference for me. i went from abec 3 to really good 5's in a short time but kept my wheels... i live my 5's as theyre open on one side and rather quick... it will be interesting to see what abec7 microbearings are like now with the new blades. |
