Hypothetical situation: Whats the right thing to do?
Tom is going out with Mary. Mary and Tom are both friends with Bob and Tim. Bob and Tim are both good friends with Tom, especially Bob. Mary is getting tired of Tom and doesn't want to see him any more but she won't tell him anything. Mary starts to develop feelings for Tim. Not only does Bob know the truth, but so do all there other friends. Mary has made them promise not to tell Tom what is going on, if someone does they would have to handle the wrath of Mary. Since no one will say anything, shouldn't Bob say something since he is his Tom's best friend?
