Several universities are offering degrees in Occupational Safety and Health.
It really shouldn't be too hard to find. There is also a lot of training and certificates you can get if you already have a degree that will help you in the safety field. I know because I did safety for about 12 years professionally and am an OSHA 501 trainer, certified powered lift truck trainer and MSHA trainer.

Bobby,
House inspector...... you pick the paycheck, hours etc. With our market, you could do well in 3-5 years without a degree while getting your degree. Boo..a legend in my own mind....heh!
