Slivers
I don't know if this is the right forum, but what the hell.
I had a sliver in my finger and I tried taking it out. Well I got most of it out, but then I broke off a little piece and now there's no way of getting it (trust me I've been trying) out. I was just wondering if it's alright to leave it in there. |

and I'm probably not the best person to answer it!
it might be ok to leave it in, but why take the chance? I'd go and see the doc if I were you.

So long as you keep it clean and avoid infection, you can probably leave it in until it comes out on its own. Or at least gets closer to the surface. Have you tried soaking your finger in warm water before working on it?
