Pain Medication and Working Out
I was wondering if it is bad to take aspirin or ibuprofen, etc. after a moderate workout. What if its for pain unrelated to working out, i.e. a headache or something thats broken, bruised?

Taking it after a workout should be fine, but don't use it to mask an injury that could be further injured. Aspirin and aspirin-like drugs can actually help prevent tissue damage and make muscles heal faster after a workout, though their effects are debatable if used on a daily basis.

Ibuprofin can slow muscle growth after lifting. There are some studies around and also a long thread on this board recently.
Here's that link.... http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/showthr...threadid=47018
