Getting in shape after pregnancy

My wife and I had a baby 5 months ago and we are wondering what excercises my wife should do to get back in shape. She does not have a gym membership so the excercises have to be done at home. She is about 15 pounds heavier than before she got pregnant. She's at 125 pounds right now and her stomach is a bit flabby from being streched out.

So if any of you women or men have any suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Is she breast feeding?
What pre-pregnancy exercise did she do regularly?
What are her energy levels like? If low, what time of the day?
Is she working as well? If yes how much?
Is it your only child?
Does she have stretch marks i.e. scar tissue discolouration at all?
Does she have to exercise on her own?

Is she breast feeding? YES

What pre-pregnancy exercise did she do regularly? WALKING(but not much)

What are her energy levels like? If low, what time of the day? I would say medium. The baby tires her out so I don't see very high levels of energy from her.

Is she working as well? If yes how much? ABOUT 5 hours a day

Is it your only child? YES

Does she have stretch marks i.e. scar tissue discolouration at all?
YES TO BOTH

Does she have to exercise on her own? I'm willing to join her.

I did lots and lots of crunches to get rid of tummy flab. I started with 50/night, then 100/night.

I did crunches too. I also did a lot of simple stretches where I just held the pose for a while. I had a c-section and had gained 60lbs while pregnant (much of which was water but a week after delivery I was still 45 lbs more than my original weight) It took me about a year to really get back to my original place. My tummy is still a little slack but part of that is because of the c-section scar making it hard to build muscle there. I only did what my body could handle because of the incision - Some exercises hurt and pulled it. I did a lot of walking as well since I could do that with the baby. 15lbs extra at 5 mo post pregnancy - I wouldn't panic about too much. Just a little bit of time every day doing something you enjoy should get rid of that. I've heard that it's reasonable to expect 6 mo-a year to get back to or close to prepregnancy weight. Breastfeeding will help lots too.
