Self Challenge... and counterpart?
My girlfriend gets Self magazine in the mail. Each year, they have the "Self Challenge" which is a three month (gradually more intense each month) shape up plan. Although it appears in a womens health mag, it looks like it can work for both sexes. It sounds like a good plan, and it seems reasonable to start and keep on. My question is this: Is there anything similar in any of the mens fitness magazines?
I plan on doing some sort of fitness regimen starting very soon, (to coinside with the warming weather) and was wondering if any magazine has a plan developed specifically for men, even though, as I said before, there doesn't seem to be any reason why men can't participate in the Self Challenge. If there isn't any alternative, I think this thread would be a good place for those interested in doing this plan to post updates on their progress once they get started. Post before and after pictures, report on energy levels, and the like. What do you all think?

Also check out the 52 Day Challenge that the Men's Health forum does. The next one starts March 24th I think. This current one will be my third one.
