Supersets
Do you think that supersetting and perhaps the stripping method is beneficial for everyone? It seems to me that these would be advanced methods of weight training for those who already have a good amount of muscle mass and who are just refining their muscles. What do you think? I see little guys using the stripping method and doing around 7 sets for one exercise and to me that just seems like they're over doing it. I'm not sure that their muscles are developed enough yet to really benefit from that kind of intense training? How does everyone else feel? At what point do you think you should start incorpating supersets/tri sets and other more intense types of training into your routine?

So does nobody have an opinion on this? Could be beneficial for the noice lifters out there.

I think they could be beneficial, but advanced methods are not something you want to incorporate into regular training. What I've mainly heard of them is that they are mainly used to get past sticking points, etc.
You can always try them, and keep a diary to see if they help or not. |
