I stayed at the Moon Palace last August and visited the Spa Palace for a day (if you're staying at one Palace resort you can use the facilities of them all). It's a very nice place but I didn't think it was as nice as the Moon Palace.

My girlfriend spent the day at the Spa while I went cave diving. Guests at the Spa Palace seemed a little more stuck up and "fake" than the ones I met at the Moon/Sunrise Palace and at the Xpu Ha Palace. I think it's because it's marketed more as an adult's fitness type resort and less focused on the fun or nature aspects of the others.

The spa was really nice and my girlfriend loved it (and she's kind of difficult to please since she plans to open her own spa and has gotten licensed in just about everything you can do at a spa).
