Where to get digital pics printed..
So anybody got some tilted advise on where to get my digital pictures printed???
Walmart does 4x6s at $0.26 each, but for 5x7s it goes up to almost $1/each. I have about 300 images I want to take (or send) in for 5x7 printing but I don't want to pay $300! Sending a cd with my pictures to any state/country is fine if the prices are really great! So where do you guys get your digital pictures printed? THANKS! |

No one has suggested it yet, but it might be a good option for you. If you print enough digital prints, buying your own printer is the way to go. Get some photo paper and an HP5550 printer, or some other photo quality model. The prints they produce are incredible, and pretty much indistinguishable from photos. I've never seen the prints that come out of a photo haus like ofoto, so I can't comment on their quality.

Digital printers are probably best for printing a few pictures here and there.......or when needed immediately. A good idea generally, and I think HP is a good suggestion, but possibly not for this particular project.
The downside of digital priniting at home is price (not the printer, but the ink and paper), manual effort required, and quality (the professional shops like ofoto/shutterfly simply come out much better). |
