The Horseshoe is closed, got raided by the IRS. Happened while I was in Vegas earlier this month. Kind of wierd, it was open one night, and then closed the next.

You could go check out the golden nugget in the Golden Nugget.

If you can afford it do the helicopter trip to the Grand Canyon - it is an experience you'll never forget - also the short drive (17-18 miles) to Red Rocks Canyon is well worth the time. The combo ticket at the Stratosphere is the best buy in town - dinner, show, elevator to the top, etc,
