Do you enjoy ironing or is it a chore? My guess is that you like ironing -- if you don't then yeah I'd say you're anal ;)

My brother's religious about ironing and starching his shirts and pants, it comes from his days in the USMC. I say he's crazy coz it takes so much time. I get all my shirts done at the cleaners for $1.25, screw ironing. But for him it's a relaxing, repetitive task.

Your logic is frankly stupid. If I used your roundabout logic, then I would say :

"Calling people lazy and sloppy is just another way for the OCD/anal/neat freaks to justify/deny their mental disorder."

Which statement is more correct? Neither. But you could say mine is more correct, as being sloppy has never been considered a mainstream mental disorder where OCD has, but the reality is neither statement is true.

WEll, I am lazy I dont iron any thing I buy things that dont have to be ironed or if i do I take them in to the cleaners or I just put them in the dryer.

Anal Retentive (anal stage of development) -- The anal stage of motivational development is characterized by the child's central area of bodily concern in the rectum. Sigh....no dryer in my apartment, it takes so long for stuff to hang dry that by the time it's all dry I need to do laundry again...now there's just a pile on my floor that I don't know if it's clean or dirty. I guess I should wash the whole lot, clean or dirty, load it into my 70l backpack, find a coin operated drier and get it all done.
Yeah, that'd be nice. Would that make me anal? Always wanted to be anal about something...damn lackadaisical attitude...

Nothing wrong with being extra organized, or taking extra good care of your things, I'm often the exact same way. Maybe it is a little anal, but so am I, so no harm in that! :)
