Moving across the United States
I moved to Phoenix from Michigan in September after graduating from Michigan State University. Since then my family has parted ways, with a sister in Washington, my mom in California, and my dad just took a new job in New Hampshire. I've decided to move back to Grand Rapids, MI, where I can share rent with a good friend, and have a better chance at a job.
I'm driving. Has anyone driven this route. I need suggestions on the which way would be the most interesting. Time is somewhat of a factor, but I have enough to be somewhat flexible. The routes I'm considering so far are to head to Denver and then take I-80, or to go to Oklahoma City, and then up to Des Moines, IA and take I-80 the rest of the way. The only other factor is that I would really like to hit Eastern Iowa, so I can visit my home town of Cedar Rapids. If anyone has any tips for stuff I should do, routes, stuff I should bring, any and all advice appreciated. Thank you, Skettios

I've never done it, but if youre doing it this time of year, you probably want to travel as far south to start as possible. I wouldnt wanna be stuck in the Rockies during a snow storm this time of year.
