Droopy Eye Lids......
Ok so both of my eye lids are hooded meaning theres a lil extra skin that sits ontop of my eye lid. Only problem is that one of them is slightly more hooded than the other causing them to not look even. My sister suggested some kinda exercise type thing where you take ur fingers, place them right under ur eyebrowl and raise it a few times a day, she said it will tighten up that skin. I been doing that everyday for a month and a half and nothing. Does anyone else know how I can get rid of the droopyness??? Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks ya'll.

Insurance will actually cover surgery for this in some people when redundant eyelids actually interfere with vision. I saw one gentleman who actually had a couple of pieces of plastice attached to his glasses that held up his eyelids.

I used an eye cream from Avon for a while that did help my eyes not look so droopy. My upper lids kindof recede back under the brow sortof. The cream kindof puffed it up a little bit - it was a hydrating cream - and kept them more firm. Unfortunately my body chemistry changed and after a year of using it I started getting a rash from it. I haven't found anything else that quite works well. I do notice that dehydration seems to make the skin all around my eyes droopier and using a light moisterizer on them helps. Also drinking lots of water always helps just a tiny bit it seems. Water never hurt anyway.

Thanks for the feedback you all, I went out and bought some alpha hydroxy age defying cream, it says it's suppose to tone and firm up skin. Might use it for a few weeks and see what it does. If it doesn't have any affect then I'll prolly look into the surgery. Im not sure how expensive it is or what the procedures are but I think I'd be happy with the end results.
