yeah half way through basic trainning in the army..i have lost 20 pounds and 4 inches off my waist.....damn im looking good....i swear i even with working construction im not as active as i am in basic...its great....wanna loose weight.....join up

What are the entrance requirements like? In terms of minimum fitness level.

I thought it was Hoo-Rah! haha just messin, I know what you mean though. One summer I lost like 23 lbs from drinkin JUST water...not one drop of soda.:crazy:

Ive heard all sorts of things. I know that "hooah" is the sort-of official grunt/exclamation/acknowledgement/everything else at West Point, though.

Some TACs will allow short breaks and such on weekends and all. Some people use this time to make phone calls, pig out on real food, etc....

Hooah is an exclamation of joy, acknowledgement, agreement, emotion etc... You basically got the general gist of it. It's the unofficial official "interjection" of the Army - not just West Point.
