i´d wanna be in Times Square for NYE - i´ve got to experience that just once.
i´d also love to be in Paris for another NYE.

this year i´m going to be in Tokyo... so that should be pretty great.

i recommend Sydney to everyone for NYE... its the biggest party night in a city tailor-made for parties.

I'd gather up my friends, fly us all to Colorado, get a huge ski chalet and we'd welcome the New Year on our own, celebrating in the hot tub, on the deck and in the house - with a huge snowstorm blowing and fresh powder for New Year's Day.

Although it would be very hard to pick one place. I would have to agree with Bundy on this one.

I'd spend New Years on the moon. That'd be something totally new.

while this new year sucked, a few years back I spent a new year in an awesome place...
We were travelling through the middle east, and spent new years in a town in Syria called Palmera. These were the best Roman ruins I'd ever seen... because roman ruins in rome are just big rocks, really ruins. But in Palmera they had a full military camp with slave quarters and aqueduct and a fully intact colloseum. So we spent new years in the colloseum popping off champagne and glowsticks

I was just in Times Square for NYE 2004 and we went through like 4 or 5 security checks (expected) and it was really crowded and boring and cold and totally not worth it...but still something that has to be done once.

How would you know when to countdown?

I also think it'd be cool to bring in the new years while in orbit around some planet or another...
