I look like all my brothers, even my half brother, who looks like my mom, who looks like me. I have my dad's build... I have my dad's brains and my mom's wits. No chance in heck that I'm adopted.

I am not adopted, but if I was, I would definitely make an effort to find my biological parents, just to talk.

....so you're telling us your Dad has breasts and a cute tummy?

JUST KIDDING ABOUT YOUR DAD!

Actually, my sister, my middle brother and I used to tell my youngest brother that he was adopted. He was the only blonde in a house full of dark brown heads! Of course, it no longer was fun when he started coming back with, "I wish!"

doesn't really matter to me, i KNOW i'm not adopted. Even if i was, no big deal, the fact that the raise me for the past years with love and care shows that they are good, honest people. Any parents who left me to other people to raise me are no parents of mine (if that happens..which it didn't so its just my opinion).

I know I'm related. Similar build, hair color/type, exact same eyes as mom, and no one can tell my mom's and my voices apart of the phone. Not eve her own Dad can tell that.

Hubby was adopted though and his parents were sure to never hide it from him and yet tell him how much they loved him. Before we got married his parents got in touch with a friend who'd helped arrange the adoption. The friend spoke to Joe's bio Mom and put his parents in touch with her at her consent. The communicated a bit and the Christmas before we got married we got to go meet her. She's a great person and we discovered that Joe's love of Nascar is in his blood. His birth Mom's brother actually added a room onto his house expressly for the purpose of displaying all of his Nascar collectables. She still keeps in touch and has met our daughter as well. She even called his parents house to chat and say Merry Christmas when we were there. She got to talk to our daughter and to hubby then too. She sent us a box full of Christmas presents as she has every year since we met her. It's an amazing story and a healing thing for hubby's Birth mom. She was a teen and unmarried when she got pregnant. Her father was very angry about it. He even refused to speak of her pregnancy the whole time and would not allow her to mention it around him. He basically forced her to put her baby up for adoption and her baby was gone within a week of her giving birth. For her to finally be allowed back into this person's life that she was separated from so long ago is something she appreciates very much and it gives her closer to something that was painful to her.

Hubby's birth dad died only 2 years ago before they had a chance to meet. His birth mom did communicate (she's married to a different man) with hubby's birth dad and had told him how their offspring was doing, who he was married too and that he had a child of his own. She also shared a picture of us with him I believe.

Hubby's sister was adopted as well and has been reunited with both her birth parents.
