I used to pride myself in how little sleep I needed to keep functioning. Now I start getting a headache and start to whine at about 9 pm.

One of the things that annoys me about myself how I cant sleep in on the weekend anymore. Even after a night of boozing, I am still wide awake at 8 am. I need to work a night shift or something so I'm not so boring anymore.

Depends, when I'm working I frequently get around 4 hours, days off though it's more like 10 to make up for it.

NoseyJoe 01-28-2004 08:17 PM

i sleep A LOT on days i dont have to go to class in the morning, but those other days i only get 3 - 4

SiNai 01-28-2004 09:01 PM

Wow, I usually get about 7 hours lately (I used to get more) and it's starting to become hard to get up in the morning.. I really feel for some of you guys..

rideough 02-03-2004 06:19 AM

I love sleeping and try to get as much as possible.

I get up early but i go to bed at 11 or so...

sixate 02-03-2004 06:26 AM

4-5 hours a day. No need for more.

funseeker27 02-07-2004 08:07 PM

Back in university, I'd be able to manage on 3-4 hours a night during exams (and even pass!!) Mind you, by the end of the two weeks or so, I'd be so burnt out, it made for the EASIEST buzz when we went out drinking to celebrate!!

As for now, I still keep down to 5-6 hours during the week, and maybe 7-8 on the weekends,

VitaminH 02-08-2004 05:40 PM

It seems I am with the majority. I try to get at least 6-7 a night, occasionally it's less, sometimes more.

Destrox 02-09-2004 09:37 AM

I actually needed a 5/6 category.

Since i get anywhere from 5 to, well, 6. :)

I voted 4/5 since when you only 5.5 hours of sleep you dont feel liek you got no 6 from rounding upwards.

Evil Milkman 02-09-2004 11:29 AM

I've started a workout routine just recently, so now I'm trying to get at least 8 hours of sleep in a night for muscle repair. Plus, it wouldn't hurt to get upwards of 9 or more a night, anyway.

Now when the semester gets closer to the end...

kurtisj 02-10-2004 02:24 PM

I voted 8-9, but on weekends when i have nothing goin on it is definitely 10+. I love those days when i can get as much sleep as i want, but i also like the days where i wake up and have a full day ahead of me.

-z3r0- 02-15-2004 11:02 PM

I usually get about around 5 to 6 hours if I've had a non busy day :P

Blackthorn 02-19-2004 08:16 PM

Boy I do much better if I get a good solid 8 but I'm a bit of an addict to the David Letterman show. Ridiculous I know. I think I'll have to take the TV out of the bedroom.

DragonFire 02-19-2004 08:22 PM

Interesting subject cause I always wanted to talk about this since I get 3 -4 hours of sleep only per day . No weekends or weekdays are different . Is this normal ?

BuddyHawks 02-20-2004 07:50 PM

around 6 hours weekdays, 9 hours weekends.
I didn't go to bed last night.

doncalypso 02-22-2004 06:22 PM

I get about 6 to 7 hours of sleep a night, but I definitely feel it's not enough for me though.

Even though I'm only 22 years old and technically still in my prime, I find myself being constantly fatigued and in need of sleep because I'm so busy with school (17-credit course load; 11 hours of lab a week). Furthermore, I have some deadbeat downstairs neighbors who never go to class and play loud music all night until the wee hours of the morning, so I can't get my necessary 6 hours.

WarWagon 02-22-2004 06:51 PM

3 if I'm lucky. Between practice, homework, etc, I rarely get to bed before 3, and as a result of some health conditions I have a lot of difficulty falling asleep before 4 or 5, if at all.

jvwgtr 02-24-2004 09:20 AM

I always get eight hours, right on the nose.
One of the beauties of working from home is that I never have to use an alarm clock..but I find myself waking up at about 6:30am everyday anyway.

EbolaVirus 02-24-2004 05:11 PM

Last night I slept for about an hour. I'm surprised that I actually stayed awake throughout the day.

runawayfetus 02-25-2004 06:53 PM

seriously.. fuck school.. i hate getting up early. atleast its almost over. hehe

Ov3rKiLL 02-25-2004 07:34 PM

hey guys i usually get 6/7 hours of sleep, but int he other hand i really think that sleep is a waste of time. the only reason why you sleep is so your braing doesnt overheat and die out :) and in the other hand i think that we shouldnt sleep its wasting time. doesna anybody else agree? yea runaway thanx good im gradutaitng this year i hate to wake up at 6:30 am
