If you do happen to get them a instead of popping them (i know it's really tempting :-P) but don't pop them, put toothpaste over it at night before bed...it might sound really weird but the toothpaste dries up the pimple and just do this until the pimple is gone (sorry if this isn't the response you were looking for but I thought this may help you somewhat hopefully)

Yeah, as it's been said, wash your face regularly. In addition, change your pillow cases often. Oil from your face build up quickly on your pillow and can clog up your pores nice and quick. If you are having problems with your back and shoulders, do the same thing with your sheets.
You should be doing this pretty often regardless, especially if you have hopes of, I don't know, sharing your pillows and sheets with anybody. |

Rule number one: STAY AWAY FROM GREASY FOOD !!
The foods that really screw me over are greasy potato chips and fast food meals. Also, if you have health care I advise yo usee a regular doctor and he can give you some retin-a or tetracycline. The Neutrogena stuff may work for soem people, but o thers it just isn't strong enough.

Man, that neutrogena face wash just kills my face. I get my worst acne when it's really dry and I used that stuff, everything go so irritated my entire face broke out. If you want a consistantly clear face, that proactiv stuff works wonders. After being on accutane twice, I swear by it. And for the chest/back, get some benzyl peroxide wash. I use some perscription stuff, brevoxyl wash or something. Other than that, differin is the best non-drying stuff I can think of to just generally clear up your face.

Make sure if you do get any kind of face wash.. get something thats light and doesnt smell like flowers or anything like that. if it has a strong scent.. it will more than likely help you break out more.. i learned this from a dermontologist(sp).. but yeah.. just in case you do wash your face and stuff regulary.. ..

wash your face no more/no less than twice a day with a natural soap bar- no soap that you use on your body, unless it's all natural.
don't pick- i still sometimes have that habit also, when I went to get my hair cut one time, the stylist says she uses a conditioner found in salons called "Scalp Therapy" by Nioxin. She said it has helped her- just use it like a face wash. Also, excercise to get blood evenly flowing through your body. P.S. about the toothpaste, I do it when I first get a pimple and it takes the swelling and size down- it really works! Last edited by :::OshnSoul:::; 01-07-2004 at 04:53 PM.. |

Most acne medications use salicylic acid in them, 2% strong.
DO NOT be tempted to use wart medication (17% strong). I tried this as an experiment on my face and it took off a good 4 layers of skin and turned the area bright red. END of experiment. Try accutane... Washing your face... I think I will have to try that toothpaste thing to see if it works.
