Okay, I know this is kind of a lame post, but hey I'm not making you read it. I'm sure plenty of people have asked for gift suggestions before, but, I figured I gotta do it too...

I need help with a christmas gift.

Before I came home for the holidays this girl at school gave me a really sweet christmas gift that was personal and touchy and sappy, and I actually found myself really liking it and wanting to do the same for her.

Now, I like this girl, and we've had a few pseduo-dates, and I'm pretty sure she likes me, so I want to get her a good thoughtful gift in return for when I get back to school.

She likes the color pink, she likes flowery stuff, she likes reality tv shows, and she likes singing aloud to boy bands. She has a belly ring. She comes from a traditional asian family, and is slightly traditional herself. She's also just 19 (i'm 21).

Now I'm looking for specifics here people, please help if you can, my mind is drawing lots of blanks, and it doesn't help I hate shopping.

There has been one gift that every woman I've ever known has asked for, be she a friend, girlfriend, relative, what have you: slippers. I'm not kidding. All of them that I have given slippers practically melt when you give them to her. I suppose it's just a flaw in women's brains that makes them feel this way about fuzzy foot wear, but there you go.

You say that she's asian, but only kind of traditional? Tough call, but I'd probably lean towards the fuzzy kind of slipper. Definitely get the kind that is open in the back for easy slipping on and off.

Or, you know, you could get her a nice Christmas lingerie

this year i'm getting my SO as nice pen case (to hold the pen i bought her for her birthday), a magnetic poetry kit, a nice photo frame with a photo of us in it and a nice leather journal (she loves writing).

oh, and a rubber duckie vibrator! ehehe

rubber duckie, you're so fine
and i hope, that you'll be mine!

get her something she will USE and not sit and gather dust. i dunno, i'm not a huge fan of giving ornamental presents (apart from the photo frame).
