Say something or not...
Ok last night i went to meet some new people... and my friend seth was there with this girl amy who he met through me kinda... (him and my roomie were drunk here... she called my phone... they got her number off my phone and called her and then started chatting...) but anyways Seth and amy were looking rather close...
and now the problem... Seth has a girlfriend who was out of town this weekend... and i dont know if i should say anything to her about it to her or not... my first instinct is to not... its not my relationship, not my business.. dont get involved... just gonna cause drama... but at the same time i think she would want to know...

Well nothing seems to have actually happened, maybe it was just a meeting of minds? I wouldnt do anything yet in case I was wrong, but if things continue he should break off with his current g/f. Should he not, I'd talk to him. Should he continue, I'd consider telling her if I cared at all about her feelings.

yah... i dont know for sure that they actually did anything beyond the sitting in lap and holding hands... they were hanging out beforehand and they left together pretty soon after i got there saying they were tired...
i guess ill just keep an eye on them and if i think i should do somethin about it ill talk to him first...

she called to go climbing and he was there too... he was wearing the same clothes as last night...hes usually pretty anal about changing his clothes every day and just stayin clean in general...
*shrug* i dunno...

Getting involved in other's relationships is just asking for trouble. When I was in college, I had two roommates. I had met one of them through my current girlfriend's roommate who was dating one of them. I got unhappy with my dorm situation and moved in.
I was sitting in the apartment one day when there was a knock on the door. It was a girl with a child on her arm that said she was looking for Bill (who she was married to). This was the first time I had heard about a wife (and here he was dating my girlfriend's roommate). I decided to stay out of it, but got drunk one night and mentioned it to the wrong person. It got back to my girlfriend's roommate who told her boyfriend (and denied it the asshole). He ended up putting a crowbar through my windshield, and I had him arrested for vandalism. I ended up living in very temporary quarters until the semester was over. I just don't believe in getting involved in things like that anymore. |

I vote for talking to the friend rather than going straight to the girlfriend. One, you only have suspicions, not hard evidence; two, it's his mistake to make; three, if someone went behind my back about something like this and ratted me out for something I may or may not have done to someone else, I'd be super pissed.

Definetly talk to him before you do anything. If he comes up with a lame excuse then you can tell him that HE should tell his girl. or you will.
