Things to see in St. Louis, MO?
I'm going to be in St. Louis for a couple of days, and I was wondering if anyone could suggest places to see or things to do while I'm there.
Besides the Arch, I know absolutely nothing about this city. Thanks! |
First off, the arch is great and worth it. Do it just to say that you did it, not really because of it itself. The Budweiser brewery is there, not bad and can be a family event. Brewery tour is free but Arch costs something like two bucks. You can shop at Union Station. Might want to check this site out

If you're into strip clubs go across the river into Illinois and sample PTs and Diamond Caberet in Sauget. Or if you really want to have fun go to PTs in Centreville on a Sat. night. That's swingers night and couples from everywhere go there to fuck around. Its in a separate area but you can still watch.

I don't know if you already went or what but....Well, I'm not sure what you are into, but there is the zoo, which is free i think, it's in Forest Park, there's the botanical garden, which is pretty good but costs a few dollars, haven't been there in a while. There is also the science center, which is a cool place to go, it has an omnimax theater. Forest Park also has the art museum and the Jefferson Memorial.
For eating/hanging out a good place to go is Laclede's landing which is close to the arch, or the U City loop. If you are into gambling, there are some good casinos, I hear Harrahs is good and Ameristar is good too in St. Charles. That is all I have for you. |
I've been there quite a bit, and this is not the most exciting major city in America. This pretty well has it covered!

Thanks everyone! (I'm going next week)

You have to do the Arch. Just north of there is their old bar district-that is fun. The budwieser factor tour is also a good time and free beer!
